Sunday Lunch in Lichfield

If you’re after a hefty roast to satisfy your cravings, look no further than our lunchtime carvery served every Sunday in the restaurant, with a weekly changing menu featuring the finest local meats and vegetables from specially-chosen suppliers. 

Alternatively, head to the cosy and stylish Lounge Bar for a great place to relax and enjoy fantastic food. Served from 12pm until 9:30pm, our extensive bar menu features all the lunch favourites like soup and sandwiches plus all your favourite pub classics like battered fish of the day, sausage and mash, chilli con carne, pasta dishes and salads. If you are going to be out and about for the day, or have an early start we will happily prepare a packed lunch for you – just ask at Reception when you check in. The Lounge Bar also offers an extensive drinks selection, including a new gin menu which features a choice of over 30 premium gins, and are proud to be a featured venue on Lichfield’s Real Ale Trail which guides walkers around 10 historic pubs and hostelries in the city centre – liquid lunch anyone? 

For those with slightly more sophisticated tastes, what better way to lunch than with a luxury afternoon tea in front of a roaring open fire? Served every day in the Lounge Bar, our full afternoon teas include an assortment of freshly prepared sandwiches, a fruit scone with cream and strawberry jam, an assortment of afternoon tea cakes and a selection of teas or a pot of freshly-ground coffee.
