Stay at The George Hotel

The hotel staff are extremely welcoming and hospitable, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. It has the ideal location for a trip to Lichfield being centrally based for all the sites. An excellent breakfast to start your day.

Lovely bar area and lounge, restaurant. Friendly staff, the building has character has kept a lot if its old features.
Clean room, comfortable bed and quiet no disturbances. Breakfast there was a wide range of choices and it was good quality.
Easy check in if you do the online bit before you arrive .

Stayed at The George Hotel for one night as staying in the area. The hotel is centrally located in the city near to all the shops and attractions within easy walking distance. Onsite parking on a first come first served basis but again convenient for dropping bags. Staff were welcoming and helpful and the room was well appointed with all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. Would recommend to others and return if required accommodation in the city in the future.

Lovely room on first floor - all staff lovely. Easy check in done online the day before. Arrived early and allowed to leave bags at reception so we could explore Lichfield. Buffet breakfast lovely with fruit yogurt, hot food and food to order.

First off, what a lovely building. Only stayed here once, the room we had was a standard double, very spacious, clean and well presented. Decent sized bathroom, again, very clean. The bed was extremely comfy, pillows the best I've slept on in a hotel.

Great hotel. Have stayed several times now. The staff are polite, pleasant and helpful. Special mention to the staff at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. The bar has a relaxing atmosphere. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean and spacious.
