City Centre Attractions

Enjoy a picnic in Beacon Park, pick up a bargain in the Lichfield markets, discover art on the streets by following the Lichfield City Sculpture Trail, or venture into Lichfield’s Guildhall prison cells for a look at Lichfield’s history. Lichfield’s Tudor black and white timber framed buildings, cobbled streets and market squares combined with the pretty parks make the city a great all-season destination especially in the summer months with the various festivals and special events.

All the places of interest in Lichfield are within easy walking distance and the other attractions listed are on bus and or rail routes. Please ask at reception when you check in and we will happily give you the necessary information.

Attractions in Lichfield District

A little further afield you can enjoy the thrills of Drayton Manor Park, home of Thomas Land, delve into Saxon history at Tamworth Castle, or enjoy playing in real snow at the Snowdome. The National Memorial Arboretum, created to pay tribute to those who served their country during the 20th century, is just a few miles away.
