Ever popular with both residents and local diners, the restaurant offers a relaxing carvery meal for lunch or dinner. The menu changes every day but always features the finest local produce from specially chosen suppliers, like organic pork from Packington Farm, Scottish beef and dairy ice cream from Needwood Farm.
Dining is always friendly and informal here; choose from homemade soup or a selection from the salad bar to start, enjoy a roast with traditional trimmings or a Chef's special for main course, and then a seasonal dessert and coffee to finish. Lunch is £12, dinner is £14.50 and it is always advisable to pre book your table.
There's also a comfortable lounge bar where you can enjoy a morning coffee, bar snack or afternoon tea. For a pint with a difference, the well stocked bar always features a real ale plus a speciality beer from the local Burton Bridge Brewery.

Courtyard
Our courtyard is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink or bar snack at any time of day – it’s a veritable oasis which sits serenely right in the heart of the city and there are lots of solid wicker tables and chairs so everyone can find a spot to relax, enjoy the setting and savour the fabulous food. What’s more, the huge heated canopies mean you can enjoy the alfresco experience, whatever the weather!
